Cascade Responsibly

When a virus pops, it sends antibody particles in 4 directions: up, down, left, right. When these particles hit other viruses, it will cause them to grow or pop. This can lead to cascades to help you clear the board.

Tip: Set up cascades by lining up soon-to-pop viruses in rows and columns. Longer chains will earn you additional nano-bots.

Nano Storm

You have one additional secret weapon. The Nano Storm is a powerful burst that will impact several viruses all at once.

After you use your Nano Storm charge, you can recharge it by building a chain of 21+ pops in a single cascade. Long chains that miss the mark still retain a partial charge.

Tap the icon to ARM Nano Storm, then tap a target virus to deploy.

When you use the Nano Storm, the target virus takes 2 hits. Orthogonal + diagonal neighbors take 1 hit each.

Nano-Bots and MODS

Nano-Bot Counter: Nano-Bots are your primary weapons. Keep an eye on this meter to know how many you have available. You can earn additional Nano-Bots by clearing levels or with long cascades. You can never exceed the maximum number of Nano-Bots (but some MOD chips can increase your limit). If your Nano-Bot meter ever reaches 0, it's game over.

MODS Bar: This area shows any MOD chips you've earned along the way. Active run effects appear here so you can quickly track bonuses and trade-offs.

Scoring

Youg gain points by popping viruses and clearing levels. Longer cascades increase your chain multiplier, which boosts the points you gain from each pop in that sequence. You also earn higher point multipliers as you advance to higher levels.

• Short pops score less; long cascades score significantly more. This is the key to maximizing your score.
• Planning cascades by setting up rows and columns is the fastest way to raise your score.
• Higher scores unlock more perk opportunities in Adventure Mode.

At score milestones you get a new MOD chip. PIXEL PERKS are simple and safe boosts. VIRAL VENTURES provide more power but with trade-offs.

Survival Tips

• Prioritize cascades over single pops. Set up lanes for casecades in rows and columns.
• Break shields and other obstacles early so they do not block future cascade routes.
• Save your Nano Storm for when it can make a big impact. Use it to start cascades.
• During boss levels, treat regular viruses as resources for causing cascades and gaining back Nano-Bots.
• Chose your MODS carefully and adapt your strategy depending on which ones are active.
• Use PIXEL hints as timing cues; many warnings will help you prepare your next move.
